DentalWriter Bridge or Connector not working

Reconnecting DentalWriter to bridge

Often, this issue occurs because the workstation running the Bridge or Connector has lost communication to the Server where the practice management software database is contained. Simply CLOSING the connector in the system tray and relaunching the DW Connector Icon from the desktop will initialize and re-connect allowing you to perform the bridge operation.

To Fix:

In the lower right-hand corner of your system tray the bridge Icon should be displayed if pinned to system tray. If not select the Show Hidden Icons up Arrow and locate the bridge icon, right-click and elect to close. The Icon will be close.


Next, locate the DWLink Icon on and single-click to re-establish connection. The icon will be reload in system tray again and is now ready for the bridging operation.
