Requesting a new password for DentalWriter desktop log inSteps to change your DentalWriter Password.
There are (2) places in which your DentalWriter™ password must be changed if unknown, so that all features remain available to you for both the DentalWriter™ website and the DentalWriter™ desktop software. By accessing DentalWriter™ online then within the DentalWriter™ software.
Navigate to www.DentalWriter.com
You will be presented with typical login option and if password is unknown, you may select “Request a Temp Password” button. Note: You will be required to enter the UserName created during registration and have access to the e-mail address used as part of registration.
(DentalWriter Technical support to does not maintain any passwords or keep them as is the responsibility of the client to log and secure. The UserName and e-mail address are the only records that can be validated by the technical support team.)
Enter the UserName that was created during the registration and purchase process in box labeled “User Name” then select the yellow button “Send Temporary Password”. A temporary password will be e-mailed to the account used during registration.
The body of e-mail message will contain your temporary password. Highlight and copy that temporary password and navigate back to www.dentalwriter.com and select to login.
Now that you have successfully logged into www.dentalwriter.com with a temporary password it is advised to immediately change the temporary password provided as is only temporary and will expire.
