How to connect physician contacts to patients and streamline narrative & letter correspondence.

This article will go over Connected Contacts in DentalWriter Plus+

Once you are in a patient’s chart, go to Patient Info:

Scroll down to the Referral section and add referring physician if there is one and save:

Next go to visits and create a visit. On the patient questionnaire tab, select contacts by referring Provider. If one was added on the Patient Info tab you can easily connect that contact here using Connected Contacts:

Under Other Providers list all healthcare professionals the patient is seeing for current problem, select Contacts then All contacts and pull providers from the contact list, select and close:

Select Add Provider then contacts to continue to add additional healthcare professionals:

After you’ve entered all of your patient's healthcare professionals and select Contacts one more time, you will see all of the professionals you added are now Connected Contacts for this patient, simply close out of this window:

Once you have completed steps 1 and 2 navigate to step 3, SOAP Report. Select Create SOAP Reports then To contacts:

You will see that your selected professionals show up as Connected Contacts:

Hold down the Ctrl button and select all the Connected Contacts you’d like to create a SOAP report for, then click select and close:

A Narrative has now been generated for all the Connected Contacts selected:
