How to create a new email template in DentalWriter Plus+

This article will go over how to create a new email template to use with all patients in DW+.

To create a new email template you will need to navigate to a patient's chart preferably a test patient's chart. Once you are in their chart you will want to locate the E-Mail icon, it is located under the patient's name in the upper left corner. (If the E-Mail icon is greyed out that means an email address is not entered for that patient. To add the email address open up the patient's info page.)

When you click on the E-Mail icon the E-Mail Recipient Type box will pop open.

Click on E-Mail Template, now locate "+ Create Template" to create a new E-mail template.

Once you click on + Create Template the template box will open up and you can now create the new email template. Once you are finished you have two choices, Save and Close or Save and Send E-mail.

Once you choose how you want to save your new E-mail template it will always be listed in the E-Mail Templates unless you delete it.
