How to enter a Pre-Payment on the Ledger in DentalWriter Plus+
Step by Step tutorial on how to add pre-payments to the patient's ledger in DentalWriter Plus+
Navigate to the patient's profile and select the Ledger tab
Select + ADD PAYMENTS
Select Patient Payment
Type in pre-payment information below. Refer to the text on the left side to better understand what information is needed.
Next select save to post the pre-payment.
How to add a pre-payment when there is a charge(s) on the ledger
Follow the same steps above.
The software will automatically apply the payment to the charges listed below.
You must zero out the charge (0.00) to save the payment as a pre-payment.
Next select save to post the pre-payment.
Now you will see the pre-payments in the top left
Select APPLY and you can apply the payment to the correct charge.
You have now successfully added pre-payments to the patient's ledger in DentalWriter Plus+
