This article will go over how to customize or rename the visits/exams and forms in DentalWriter Plus+.
You are able to rename the Visits and Forms in DentalWriter Plus; so for example maybe you want to combine the Sleep History, Exam & Workup with the TMD History, Exam & Workup. To do this you are going to navigate to Admin on the left menu panel and then to Options.
Once in Options you will look for Visits & Forms Templates.
Once inside of the Visits & Forms Templates you will see Visit Templates and the Forms Templates. Go to the Visit or Form you would like to change the name to, for this example we are going to use the TMD History, Exam & Workup and you will click on that title.
Once you click on the title you will get this view and now you can change the name of this visit.
Go to the Template Name and rename the visit. For this example we will rename it to TMD/Sleep History, Exam & Workup. Once renamed click the Save button.
When you go back to all Templates you will see the new name listed.
Now when you go into a patient's chart to their Visits and click on New Visit you will see the new name of that Visit. Once you change the name it will be updated for all patient's chart from that day you change it and forward.
